     The Association of Responsible Contractors & Construction Professionals (ARCCP)was formed by Community Lending and Investment was formed by individuals seeking to provide complete information to the public about managing credit challenges, getting out of debt and creating a savings program. Our members are bound by a strict code of ethics and discipline process to ensure consumers are always treated fairly by an NARCLI member.

     ARCCP provides contractors and construction professionals with education, coaching, and guidance on building a successful business, with a strong focus on marketing that is both productive as well as ethical. Our members are bound by a strict code of ethics and discipline processes to ensure consumers are always treated fairly by an ARCCP member.

     Our association’s members have the highest level of ethics in the construction and services industry.

The ARCCP Membership Requirements

  1. Each member of the Association of Responsible Contractors & Construction Professionals is pledged to observe high standards of honesty, integrity and responsibility in the conduct of business by:
    • Promoting in good faith only those products and services which are known to be functionally and economically sound, and which are known to be consistent with objective standards of health and safety.
    • Making all advertising and sales promotion factually accurate, avoiding those practices which tend to mislead or deceive the customer.
    • Writing all contracts and warranties such that they comply with federal, state, and local laws.
    • Promptly acknowledging and taking appropriate action on all customer complaints.
    • Attaining and retaining insurance as required by federal, state, and local authorities.
    • Attaining and retaining licensing and/or registration as required by federal, state, and local authorities.
    • Will not misrepresent services to a client or infer that additional services must be purchased for an extra cost once a firm estimate has already been presented.
    • Will not utilize “Bait-and Switch” business practices of advertising low-price offers that they have no intention of honoring.
    • Will not misrepresent facts about warranties or quality of service.
    • Will strongly guarantee their workmanship.
    • Will be responsible, ethical and honest in all of their business and professional relationships.
  2. Sign a detailed membership agreement that outlines our members’ responsibilities to their consumers and their agreement to submit to our dispute resolution process.
